Thalazur We spent four nights here in August. Good base for exploring Saint Jean du Luz and surrounding area and even managed a day trip to San Sebastián. Reception was welcoming and efficient with good English. Staff they’re very helpful. Our room was on the first floor and was very comfortable and well appointed. We had a bathroom with long bath and great shower, plenty hot water every time. Large bed with good mattress, air conditioning that worked well had a small balcony that got sun in the late afternoon, early evening. We did not breakfast in the hotel since Petit Dejeuner is available in the town at €9 and we could not justify, or eat, €23 worth in the hotel. We only ate once in the hotel and that was in their Tapas bar. We found that good quality and good value. €50 got us a very fine special Croque Monsieur, Sausages and Patatas Bravas, washed down by two glasses of rose wine and a 50cl glass of draught beer.

The room was clean, nicely decorated and good size, however soundproofing was not good, you can get noise from the outside even with closed windows and from the corridor. The breakfast choice and service was good. The spa is really nice and welcoming, and the spa staff is great, the spa can get quite busy sometimes though. The bar food and service was excellent.

The breakfast and setting for breakfast was one of the best i’ve ever had. All kinds of fruit, baked goods, cooked options, healthy options. Just a wonderful and relaxing experience. The hotel was full but we didn’t hear a sound all night. The beds were exquisite as were the pillows. The staff were so kind and sweet

The hotel was renovated during Covid lock downs. Everything has been updated. The rooms are very comfortable. The thalasso spa and pool area is great and the treatments were superb. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and now can deal with guests in various languages besides French. All around, it was an excellent stay in all respects. A particular thanks to all the wonderful staff at the hotel and bar and redtaurant!

We really enjoyed our stay. We booked it last minute so unfortunately we did t have a view. Other than that the room was pretty large so that a plus.

Location is right on the beach, nice beach towels are available (limited numbers but ok). Interior of the room is modern and fresh. Breakfast has big verity of choice with perfect view. SPA facilities are great.

The hotel is very attractive, close to the seafront and a short stroll to the centre of the town. The room was very well decorated and there was plenty of space for us and our little dog. Staff were friendly

We stayed for 10 days in this hotel and it was perfect. Our room was comfortable and very well fitted out. We had a super balcony with a table and chairs and sun loungers. The bed was huge and relaxing. The Spa was fantastic, we went down most days and enjoyed the steam room and jacuzzi areas. Loved that it was sea water... And the fantastic view of the beach from all areas. The staff were friendly and helpful even though we didn't have French.
